AROUND the Island
Whether you are here for the fishing, hunting or just family fun, Southeast Alaska Getaway is in the perfect location to provide that “base camp” for all your activities. Its setting is close to the main highway between Klawock(20 minutes away) and Hollis, while providing a sense of isolation as it sits on an acre of wooded forest.
Our getaway is ideal for 1-5, even providing room to pitch a tent for additional family members on the site! The cabin is newly updated with new appliances, fully furnished, chest freezer, providing a covered outdoor eating/cooking area complete with a firepit, gas grill, smoker, crab cooker, picnic table and a stash of firewood to keep the “home fires” burning night after night. The perfect setting to share the events of the day or savor a smore!
Didn’t bring your rod and reel? We have rods and reels for either river or saltwater fishing.
If you have your Alaska Sport fishing license, then we will provide two crab pots for catching delicious Dungeness Crab!
Our getaway provides you with a taste of Alaska with a touch of home! We are eager to welcome you to our Alaska!
